I have become interested in WiFi. I decided to resurrect an older Dell laptop computer and dedicate it to recording WiFi signals. I needed to get USB2 on this older laptop, and this device was what I ordered. The computer had a PCMCIA slot, and this device provides my old computer with four USB2 terminals. The device comes with a cable that plugs into the USB1 terminal of the laptop, and into this PCMCIA card, to provide the 5 volts that USB is supposed to provide. It works as it is supposed to work and I am completely happy with it.
