When this product works, it does work well but it is too unstable.
*It literally needs a clear line of sight. No going around chairs or even through lattice like chairs.I found it very
finicky;everything has to be just right for it to work.
* I found the picture to be a little jump. The advice on the website was to move the devices closer together.
Mine were about 20 feet apart. You can't get much closer without defeating the purpose of the product, easy
wireless streaming form pc to tv.
* It can be a real pain reconnecting the devices for any reason.I found you had to unplug and then plug in the usb adapter into
the video base for both devices to recognize each other.
Overall It's not worth the money and you should spend some extra bucks and get a media extender with wifi.

The product works better than advertised. The setup is easy as 1, 2, 3. I had the adapter installed and working within 15 minutes. Video quality and sound quality on your TV or video source is excellent. Another great feature is that by default it configures your TV or video source as an extention of your PC. So you can start a movie and drag it to the extended window (TV or video source), then continue working on your PC while the video plays on your TV. I'm very impressed with the quality and ease-of-use. It is definitely worth the price.

Generally pretty good, range is about half of what they claim for "good" quality transmission. Managed to update the drivers without any problems but it was not a casual computer user task. Still have some issues with getting the audio and video synced, live action video can be a little choppy. Have been using the HDMI output so far to my 720p TV, the 480 options don't work on the HDMI. Will be trying the video output eventually but I will have to pull the TV off the wall to get to the input on the TV. Bought this to see if internet TV (i.e. fox, hulu) was a viable alternative to cable TV, not quite there yet but its promising.

I don't generally post but I thought I'd share my positive experience. After reading the reviews, I thought it would be worth the shot since my situation would be best served by going wireless and it would be with the Warpia product. The distance I needed to cover is roughly 10-12' and I went with an HDMI connection. After skimming the instructions, installation took around 15 minutes and it worked on a limited basis. Audio/Video worked for several minutes before the audio would cut out (eventually disappear) and the video would only work for a minute at best (even rebooted the PC). It reported a loss connection and after various attempts of plugging/unplugging, I decided to quit and sent an e-mail to support. My question was answered the next day and they had me go to their website to upload new drivers. They also sent me a contact number so I decided to call tech support (had no wait) and spoke to Kevin. I told him what happened and he even stayed on the phone with me to walk me through the set up. That was unexpected - awesome service! Although I've only had it for a week, it's been working fine - a little video lag at times (quick motion) but nothing major and I consider it acceptable especially since it's completely wireless. Audio is fine! The connection definitely needs to be in line of sight for optimal performance; I had it mounted in back of my tv set originally and although it still worked, video difference was noticeable. NOTE: I didn't try it beyond the reported 10-12' because I had no need to. OVERALL: Fast service from Amazon and fantastic tech support from Warpia! IN ADDITION: Waiting on a back order for a wireless cable TV connection and will be using the product from A1Tech.

Before I got this unit, I had a VGA cable running from my laptop, across the living room, to the TV. My wife wasn't happy with that at all. Then I got the Warpia and set it up with the base unit connected to the TV (Toshiba Regza) with a VGA cable and audio cable. It worked great. I used the PC-Input setup on the TV. However, I had to make sure the VGA resolution of the laptop was compatible with the allowable resolution on the TV, otherwise, no signal. Then I bought a cheap HDMI cable and was able to do away with the big VGA cable - and I didn't have to fuss with the laptop video resolution. PLUS, now that I had the audio-out from the base unit free, I routed the audio cable to my stereo. Now I can run anything from Netflix or YouTube to the TV, and my stored mp3s to the stereo.
I'm running a Toshiba laptop about 12 feet from the base unit at the TV. The laptop is running on a wireless network also. I'm competely wireless. Strong signal, no dropouts. My wife is happy too.
Highly recommended.
